— Computers —
Well, I use a computer in lots of situations. When I need to do schoolwork, like write papers or do research, I use it. If I want to catch up with friends, I'll use it for video calls. I also use it to watch movies or play games when I'm relaxing. And sometimes, I use it to look up information or check the news. It's really handy for all these things.
I think the first time I used a computer was when I was about 7 years old. My dad brought home an old laptop from work. I was really curious. He showed me how to play a simple game on it. I remember being amazed by the screen and the way the game worked. It was a lot of fun, and that's when I started getting interested in computers.
Without computers, life would be quite different. I'd have to do things the old way. For school, I'd write papers by hand and use books for research. No more quick online searches. Communication would change too. I'd make more phone calls and maybe write letters. For fun, I'd play board games instead of video games. It'd be a slower pace, but it could be nice in its own way.
It'd be tough to use a computer if the power's out. No electricity means no computer. Also, if I'm in a place with no Wi-Fi or a bad internet connection, that's tricky. I can't do much online stuff then. And if the computer itself is broken, like if the keyboard's not working or the screen's cracked, that makes it really hard to use.
